No-Cost Pilot Program Drives Explosive Growth at SRS; Decade-Long Strategy of Listening to Physicians Pays Off

MONTVALE, NJ – July 23, 2009 – SRS, the leader in high-performance hybrid EMR solutions, today announced record second-quarter sales. New license sales were triple that of the same quarter last year, and SRS attributes its success to its unique offering of a no-cost, no-risk, hands-on trial—the only one of its kind in the industry. The Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI), a 51-provider group, and Northern California Medical Associates (NCMA), a 50-provider multi-specialty group, are only two of the practices that became SRS clients after experiencing first-hand the value of the SRS hybrid EMR.

"The opportunity to 'test drive' the hybrid EMR with no strings attached eliminated any hesitations we had and showed that SRS has 100% belief in their solution—that confidence is very reassuring," according to Thomas E. Dunlap, M.D., of NCMA. "The pilot program proved that we would be successful with SRS enterprise-wide," says Darrell L. Schryver, DPA, CEO of SCOI.

"Amidst all the current turmoil in the EMR industry, SRS has held firm on its decade-long strategy of creating software that is right for high-performance physicians," says Evan Steele, CEO of SRSsoft. "Point-and-click EMRs simply cannot offer physicians what we can, and our pilot program demonstrates the adoptability of the SRS hybrid EMR beyond the shadow of a doubt."

Other second-quarter additions to SRS' rapidly expanding national network of high-performance physicians include Horizon Eye Care in North Carolina, Bone & Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge in Louisiana, Southeastern Orthopedic Center in Georgia, Chestnut Hill Cardiology in Pennsylvania, Desert Orthopedics in Oregon, Neuroscience Consultants in Virginia, and Face, Ear, Nose & Throat Center of Vero in Florida.

"Our growth has been organic, with sales resulting directly from client referrals," says Clay Stobaugh, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "We give physicians the tools to confidently make the choice that is right for their practice."
